CONVO 2010

WHAT TO BRING:

·         Pillow (All other linens will be provided.)

·         Comfortable and appropriate clothing for 4 days.  Everyone will receive a purple Convo 2010 t-shirt to wear for the trip to Ellis Island, so plan accordingly.  Don’t forget your pajamas!

·         Casual party attire for Thursday’s Beach Bonfire Bash.  No need for formal clothing. 

·         Something to do during bus ride to Ellis Island. (A 1-hour drive is predicted, but could fluctuate depending on traffic.)

·         Immigrant record from www.ellisisland.org of someone that you’d like to locate while at Ellis Island.

·         Spending money for Ellis Island and Liberty Island trip (i.e., gift shops, souvenirs, etc.)

·         Hygiene Items (shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.)

·         Alarm clock!

·         Small fan if you’d like.  Dorms have circulated air and an ocean breeze, but you can bring along a small fan if you think you’ll need it.

·         Chargers for cell phones, iphones, etc. .  You may also want to coordinate with our roommates to have a power strip per room.

·         Bug Spray and Sunblock

·         A HAPPY FACE!

WHAT NOT TO BRING:

·         Beach Towel or Bathing Suit.  The Beach Bonfire Bash will not include any swimming activities.

·         Inappropriate clothing.  See the Rules & Regulations, Do’s and Don’ts provided with registration forms.  If you’re unsure if it will be “inappropriate”…don’t bring it.

·         Items that will not pass through the “airport type security” we will be subject to at Ellis Island:

Coolers

Knives

Dynamite

Guns

Anything considered “dangerous”

Cigarettes

Gum

Drugs

Animals

These  items aren’t  welcome at Convo …not just Ellis Island!

 

·         While cell phones, iphones, etc., will be allowed at Convo, they WILL NOT be tolerated during sessions, masses, or group activities.  They will be confiscated.  Please refer to information provided along with registration forms.
